Cybernetic Instruments has introduced a low cost CNC Routing Machine with 5-axis routing capability, to automate the process of making slots and holes and to trim the outline in plastic thermoform parts. The machine has spindle head that can both rotate and tilt enabling all side routing of plastic part in single set up. The entry level Quick Rout 1212-5 has work envelope of 1200 x 1200 x 400 mm and accuracy of 0.3 mm. Its sophisticated control system is capable of simultaneous 5-axis routing operation. The control system accepts industry standard G & M codes. The standard model is fitted with rugged 1 HP spindle with speeds up to 30000 RPM. With transverse/routing speeds of 18 mtr/minute, the machine can rout even complex thermoform components within few minutes. Quick Rout is also capable for manufacturing rapid prototypes in plastics from solid CAD models. This application involves importing the solid model in our CAM software, which is capable of providing 5 axis tool paths. Using these tool paths, the machine can mill a plastic block to produce accurate prototype within few hours. The company also offers a wide range of automation CNC products. The linear motion slides and XYZ units are widely used in industry. The Quick Drill range of CNC PCB drilling and routing systems are widely used in printed circuit board industry. For jewellery sector, the company offers PreciGrave range of CNC engraving machines with 5-axis capability. The company?s linear motion slides are used for wide applications like welding automation, dispensing systems etc. It also offers wide format XYZ tables for CNC wood routing, water jet cutting and many more applications.
